Café Puente is a not-for-profit,
social impact café that offers a bridge
between Spanish language learners
and their local Latino community.

Puente means bridge in Spanish. Marin Spanish School launched Café Puente in late 2018.

Our vision is for Marin Spanish School and Café Puente to share a commercial space in Downtown Petaluma by Spring of 2020.

Currently, we offer pop-up events and opportunities for Spanish learners to meet 1:1 with native speakers for a supportive and authentic experience.

Fotos de café Puente

Get a feel for the Café Puente experience with these photos from our first pop-up event, October 6, 2018 at Barber Cellars in Downtown Petaluma.
Guests said they were completely immersed in Spanish, felt authentic connections with Hosts, pushed themselves to engage with people they would not have otherwise spoken with in Spanish, and had an experience that opened their eyes to something new.
We are THRILLED with how the first Café Puente event turned out! We hope you’ll join us for our next event.
